The Varieties of Pīti
Pīti is a characteristic of the early shamatha jhanas, appearing as noisy, exciting, and extremely pleasurable. For my part, I mentally scale the pleasure of pīti by multiples of kid-at-a-theme-park feel. Several multiples in and the bubbling, sparkling sensations are unspeakable. This collection aims to point at the texture of pīti, providing meditators a more informed way to search for pleasure in the body.

Samples
You will probably receive sample bottles with your order. If you like any of them, send me an email with the label name or add a note to your purchase to replace one of the bottles in the cart. Some of these will go on to be fragrances of the line, but many more are forever buried in my journals until someone like you finds them.
When Do Sample Orders Arrive?
Some creations finish the last of a low-use material, so I wait until someone takes a shine to a sample to reorder. If you request a sample, please expect two weeks added to the lead time for the order.
Should I Wear This Fragrance?
Many of the fragrances on this site are not verified for skin safety. This is noted on the product page. They are meant to be experienced on paper strips. However, at this time, all fragrances listed on the site are wearable on my particular skin. If you wish to wear them, please test each one on a small patch of skin and wash thoroughly if it becomes irritated.
What Do You Wear Regularly?
As a perfumer, I tend not to wear fragrances! Ironic I know, but this profession has made me love the ever-changing smell of the outdoors. Smell is part of my breath work. But, I do make exceptions for intimate, close-to-the-skin perfumes like Alpine Blueberry.
